The HL7 May Working Group Meeting is being held in Vancouver, Canada on 13-18 May 2012. Collocated with the WGM is an independent training course which will focus on how a Healthcare organization can effectively define “just enough governance” to enable it to achieve its business goals in the high-change, distributed world of healthcare IT and its focus on interoperability.
This special seminar, hosted by Thomas Erl and taught by Charles Mead (Chair of the HL7 Architecture Board). Join this unique event, scheduled on the Friday, May 11, 2012, preceding the HL7 Working Group conference in Vancouver, to learn about best practices, metrics, tools, and planning considerations for establishing IT governance frameworks for healthcare organizations. During the workshop, Dr. Mead will draw from content provided by three Arcitura governance courses. All attendees will receive a complete set of governance course materials, including a copy of Thomas Erl’s 2011 text book on Governance.
