Microsystems, smart textiles, telemedicine, smart implants and sensor-controlled medical devices have become important enablers for monitoring and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient care, demonstrating the tremendous potential of micro and nano technologies not only for the future of medicine, but also for the improvement of healthcare processes today.

The conference addresses scientists for various technologies, medical doctors, and policy makers from the healthcare industry, hospital administration and allied professionals.

We cordially invite you to submit a paper / poster by 10 February 2013. Accepted contributions will be published in the Conference Proceedings within the IOS Press Series “Studies in Health Technology and Informatics” and will be referenced, e.g., at Medline, PubMed, SciVerse, Scopus.
